The South African Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC) manage around 1600 keys around their Campus. Previously this was all handled manually, where high value keys were stored in envelopes, which was both time consuming and came with potetial risks.

“To secure the Large amount, as well as high value keys, for our entire campus we opted for the intelligent key management solution from Creone (Ubuntu Consortium). We have seen a large improvement in all aspects, as the solution is simple to use and give us better overall control of the key management,” says DTIC

The number of keys that the DTIC handles has increased over the years. Therefore, they found the flexibility and ability to grow the KeyBox solution was perfect.
